Day 2: Wonders of Machu Picchu
Board the Orient-Express train for a three-and-a-half hour ride through landscapes, villages and fields of the Andes. From Aguas Calientes, there is a 25 minute bus ride to the ruins. There, you will enjoy a guided tour around the agricultural zone and urban zone featuring the sacred sector, with temples, squares and royal tombs. There will also be time for you to enjoy Machu Picchu on your own. (B)
Day 3:Cusco Ruins & City Tour
Morning at leisure to explore the magical city of Cusco. In the afternoon, we will visit an Incan temple dedicated to the Sun God, the cathedral of Cusco, the enormous fortress of Sacsayhuaman and other impressive Incan archaeological sites. (B)
Day 4: Sacred Valley Tour
Today we will visit the town of Pisaq and its traditional market. After a buffet lunch, we will head to Ollantaytambo, a city where the old ways of living is still prevalent. On our way back to Cusco, we will stop and visit the site of Chincheros. (B&L)
Day 5: Orient-Express Train from Cusco to Lake Titicaca OR Optional Bus Tour**
Today we train from the historical city of Cusco to Puno, on the shores of Lake Titicaca. From the magnificent Andean Mountains to the gentler rolling Andean Plains, we also make a scenic stop at La Raya, which is also the highest point on the route. Late afternoon arrival to Lake Titicaca and transfer to the Hotel Balsa Inn* or similar. (B)

By traveling via bus from Cusco to Lake Titicaca, you will have English guided tours to the sites of Andahuaylillas, Raqchi, La Raya and Pukara. Buffet lunch in the town of Sacuani is included. Services on board include refreshments, restroom, oxygen, heater, music, TV, & communication by satellite.
Depart Cusco at 8:00AM, Arrive in Lake Titicaca/Puno at 5:00PM.
Day 6: Uro Floating Island & Taquile Island
Today, you will take a motor boat adventure on Lake Titicaca and visit two islands with traditions that date back centuries. Lunch at one of the islands and then a walk through several archaeological sites. (B)
Day 7: Juliaca to Lima Airport - Home
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Juliaca Airport for a flight to Lima Airport (airfare not included) to connect to your International flight home. (B)
