A package for those who want a rush of 100% adrenaline for the DAREDEVIL in us all! A CRAZY week that you will not soon forget ! Price includes Rental Car (insurances/taxes included) but also eco-adventures tours and accommodations/breakfasts.
Day 1 WELCOME - DRIVING TO THE BEACH at the airport by a representative of our rental car company (Liberia or St Jose airports, your choice of arrival destination). There, you will be dropped off to the office where your reserved vehicle (A/C basic rental car with manual transmission, possibility to upgrade to automatic sedan or 4 x 4, if interested, read offer below). Then, direction Playa Samara (120 km away), approximately three hours drive. There, you will spend two nights at Giada Hotel** (or comparable standard). The first night is yours to explore the beaches of the northern pacific coast of Costa Rica! Tamarindo, Playa del coco, playa coyote, etc...
Day 2 - GUIDED OCEAN KAYAKING & SNORKELING
Breakfast. Today is a YET day! You will be surrounded by water (hat, sunscreen lotion, bathing suits and sunglasses a must). You will be meeting with our guide Ricardo who will be your host for this incredible ocean kayaking to Chora Island where you will be snorkeling (equipment provided). Snacks, drinks, fresh fruits will be served during your kayaking experience. On the afternoon you will be free to tan and enjoy the water of Samara beach, perhaps sipping a cocktail in one of the numerous bars of Samara beach…
Day 3 - SIGHTSEEING TO ARENAL VOLCANO & LAKE Breakfast. Perhaps a last swim and say “Adios” to Playa Samara, on your way to La Fortuna, town of Arenal Volcano!!! Sit back and enjoy the scenery as it will take you approximately five hours before arriving to your private bungalow of Villa Vista Arenal or similar (Driving direction provided below). Enjoy your first night at La Fortuna…
Day 4 - CANOPY TOUR + Hot springs + Crocodile & butterfly garden FREE visit
Breakfast. Pick up service at your hotel. After a short hike, you will experience your Canopy Tour! (14 platforms). You will be strapped into professional equipment & safely slide like a monkey from platform to platform, swinging on cables attached between ancestral trees, looking down the rainforest; this is an adventure that you will never forget! Your tour includes your entrance to a great hot spring swimming pool, butterfly garden & a crocodile farm visit as well.
Day 5 FREE DAY
Breakfast. Enjoy your free day and your rental car to discover the region, you have plenty to visit, from Arenal Lake to San Lorenzo cloud forest, a drive to San Jose for some shopping or simply add one of our optional tours proposed below!!!

NEW: Nicaragua cruise and historical guided tour (Transportation from La Fortuna to Los chiles. Embark boat and river down on Rio Frio “Cano negro wildlife refuge“. Crossing the border of Nicaragua, visiting the fishermen town of San Carlos. Visiting by boat the area and Lake Nicaragua. Stop and visiting of the Fortaleza museum de San Carlos and shopping in town for buying handicraft of Nicaragua) includes immigration fees and lunch. Departure 8AM Return at 6PM, whole day trip. $100.00 per person.

Day 6 - GUIDED HIKE TO ARENAL VOLCANO (Regular Fitness level) Breakfast. Rendezvous at rally point (explained by our guides). This tour includes the entrance fee to the national park of Arenal volcano, guided all away through with our private English speaking guide. A VIP experience, a real ecotourism, feels Mother Nature, wonderful spots for all your pictures need of Arenal volcano, in close and personal. No danger, professional guides are in charge. Bring your binoculars, camera, hiking equipment.
Day 7 - FLIGHT BACK HOME Breakfast. Drive back to our rental car office (please bring it back at the same time you rent it or hourly surcharge may apply), then shuttle back to airport. PLease remember that roads in Costa Rica are not always in great shape and we advise our clients to leave at least 6 hours prior to their flight time in order to turn the car back and to check in 2 hours prior to your international flight.

Single surcharge: Add only $450.00 extra + high season surcharge (if apply)
High season surcharge: 11/15- 05/15 ($69.00 per person). Costa Rica departure tax is not included in our package ($26.00 p/p) and is payable at the aiport before checking in your luggages at your airline counter (cash or credit card are accepted).
