DAY 13 BOAT TRIP TO LAKE TITICACA FLOATING ISLANDS
Breakfast. Around 7AM transfer to your boat where your captain is waiting for you. This day you will take a motor boat adventure on the lake Titicaca enjoying wonderful lake views and visiting the typical floating islands of the world¨s highest navigable lake. Here the natives built their own islands by adding periodically new layers of a unique plant called "totora" (a type of reed). Their homes and boats are made of this plant as well. You will enjoy then a tour on this typical boats to other islands. In the afternoon you return to your hotel in Puno.(B)
Recommendations: Wear comfortable clothing for changing weather. Bring Binoculars, cap/hat, sun block, sunglasses, camera or video camera and plenty of film.
