DAY 7 MARAS MORAY AND SALT MINES TREKING
On this wonderful full day out of Cusco city you will visit the picturesque town of Maras, known for its ancient doors (sixteenth century) and the local church. In this town we will also stop over at a typical Andean house and a Chicheria (corn beer brewery). Additionally we will visit the Inkan agricultural laboratory at Moray famous for its circular terraces. Close by we will have lunch in a peaceful place with a wonderful view of the snow covered mountains of the Sacred Valley. Later we will get to know the ancient Salt Mines built in the middle of the hills of the Sacred Valley. In the afternoon transfer back to your Pisaq hotel. Meals: (B, Box Lunch) You have the choice to do part of this tour via biking (our van will be available at any moment), for a small additional charge. Recommendations: April/November (dry season), December/March (wet season), wear light clothes but always have a sweater within reach, wear walking shoes, have some coins and small bills.
