DAY 8 OLLANTAYTAMBO VISIT & ORIENT EXPRESS TRAIN TO MACHU PICCHU (Aguas Calientes town)
Morning at leisure to enjoy the magic of the sacred valley; you can relax in your hotel and use the facilities which include swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, tennis course and more. Or you can take one of our tours to do small treks, bike riding, horse back riding or rafting in the sacred river. After lunch transfer to Ollantaytambo. Here people still keep the old ways of living, wearing beautiful typical Peruvian costumes. It is here where you will visit the enormous fortress of Ollantaytambo. Late afternoon transfer train to Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes).
Recommendations: April to November (dry season), December to March (wet season), wear light clothes but always have a sweater within reach, wear walking shoes, have some coins and small bills. When you take a picture of a native girl or a child they will ask you for money. You could give them 1 sol (30 cents USD) and they will be happy, but if you want to feel better we recommend to bring some school material like pencils, any other small things with name or the flag of your country (they love that).
